Peter Burgess was born in St Albans in 1952. He studied at Watford School of Art and the Royal Academy Schools.
Peter is a realist painter with a touch of surrealism. The oil paint is put on very thinly and worked up to a fine smooth surface. Subjects encompass still life, landscape and coastal. He has exhibited widely with solo shows in London, Edinburgh, Derby and Nottingham.
